[GC-Lysine] |
|
- |
GC Lysine is an abbreviation of "Granulated Concentrated Lysine". While conventional crystalline Lysine is produced with a purification process, in which Lysine in fermentation broth is isolated and purified with ion exchange resin treatment, GC Lysine is a product made by directly concentrating, drying and granulating the fermentation broth with or without biomass. |
- |
Lysine content of the product is more than 60 % as Lysine HCL (the content in the conventional crystalline Lysine is min. 98.5 %). |
- |
The advantages of GC Lysine are; |
|
1) |
It can be produced efficiently due to its simple production process. |
2) |
The volume of the waste water generated from the process is much smaller than the conventional process, which means more environmentally friendly. |
